As an LPC and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Paula’s goal is to support and empower people to live optimally and achieve wellness, growth, and individual goals. Paula believes that counseling is a dynamic and holistic process, and strives to promote respect, unconditional positive regard, empathy, congruence, and respect in every counseling setting. Paula received her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Degree from Wake Forest University.
Paula enjoys working with clients from diverse and multicultural backgrounds and is multilingual in English, Bengali, Hindi and Urdu.
Paula is highly trained in relationship and marriage counseling using the Gottman Method for her work. The Gottman Institute provides research based tools and support for your most important relationships. Paula has completed all 3 levels of Gottman training and is also able to train other therapists in the Gottman Method.
